Mental health care access for all
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many aspects of Americans’ lives. These disruptions are especially difficult for people battling mental health disorders.
We strive for mental health care
Although not everyone has been diagnosed with a mental illness, we all have dealt with mental health struggles, and can take the first step in developing our mind. We all have a brain that needs to be cared for in similar ways that we care for our physical well-being.
Our goal is to create access to mental health services through the following pillars of advocacy:
01.
Access to certified counselors, and coaches
02.
Therapy Impact Fund – Access to free therapy
03.
Intentional Micro Community base Mental Health Awareness
04.
Video based Mental Health Education
How “FM” works
Eight in ten said going to therapy was a good investment, but 40% of those surveyed reported needing financial support to attend treatment.
One in five adults in America experiences a mental illness. Nearly one in twenty-five (10 million) adults in America live with a severe mental illness. One-half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14, and three-quarters by the age of 24.
